Imperialists Taste Test Colonial Food

What would British  imperialists think about food from the colonies? Would they like it? Would it be the worst thing they had ever tasted? The British thought that having food that tasted too good was unpatriotic (because then the food would be too French), so would they not like it because it was too tasty? These were all questions we set out to answer with our project.
